Cambs Compressors Newsletter Autumn 2023

‘Keeping the heart of Industry Pumping’ www.cambscompressors.co.uk Introducing Sean Baker Recognising the need for change at Cambs Compressors Cambs Compressors started in 1993. It was the year of Brit Pop, the opening of the Channel Tunnel, the movies Jurassic Park and Sleepless in Seattle were released and Buckingham Palace opened its doors to the public for the first time. Transitioning to provide world class service Cambs Compressors started as a business in 1993, and we’ve grown organically on the back of recommendations over the last 30 years. Continually evolving the business to reflect the customers’ needs, we’ve acquired a fantastic customer base and have a brilliant team supporting them. I believe we’re now in the position where we have the right structure, operational systems and people to really make a difference. It’s a really exciting time and hopefully you and our customers are starting to feel the benefits of these changes. Where we are now would be unimaginable 30 years ago To compete in today’s world the digitisation of information and speed of communication is critical. Cambs Compressors have gone through three painful years of migrating from paper based systems to a fully digitised system. We identified this was also something we needed to do, and we’re structured very differently than even a couple of years ago. Sean is the new Sales Manager at Cambs Compressors and brings considerable experience to the business. It’s one of the final pieces in the jigsaw and will help provide the structure we need to enable us to be more proactive in supporting our customers. Who knew compressed air was so interesting! There is no doubt that Cambs Compressors are one of the UK’s leading solutions providers in technical compressed air. In the short time since joining the organisation I’ve been on a rapid learning curve about the industry. What’s fascinating is the almost limitless boundaries of the sectors it serves. It’s about being more proactive in support of our customers My remit is to be more proactive for our customers and get away from being reactive, whilst maintaining the care and strong individual relationships that Cambs Compressors has built with its customers over the last 30 years. AUTUMN Sean Baker Sales Manager, Cambs Compressors Mark Fryer Managing Director, Cambs Compressors There is no doubt that Cambs provide a great service, they love their customers and their customers depend upon and love Cambs back.
