Transition to Digitised System Update
The engineering team at Cambs Compressors are now all using the new ERP system to manage their workload, access relevant site information and update any maintenance they have carried out. When they start a job, they record the work done and everything is captured digitally. This has been a slow process as the information contained within the system is vast. Charlie Colquhoun, our tech guru based in Santa Barbara, California has done an excellent job of keeping the momentum going and driving the digital transformation programme.
As we enter 2023 we're entering the final implementation stages
Closing the old paper based systems down has delivered huge benefits, but the transition from old systems to new have thrown up some challenges along the way. Our ERP system connects our business operations and the multitude of business processes. The key benefit of which is to allow data to flow back and forth. This eliminates data duplication and provides greater data integrity. This software will be a major part in driving efficiencies as we can analyse what is done, how and objectively explore if there's a better way. It means we'll be even better positioned to help customers receive the most efficient service levels. It also means we'll be working above and beyond the expectations of most clients and these new processes will help us create intelligent reporting for actionable insights.
