Craig Turner Appointed Service Director

July 24, 2023

After almost 10 years since joining Cambs Compressors after leaving the Army, I'm delighted to take on this new level of responsibility.

We're growing and needed a more robust management structure

"I was delighted when I was approached by Mark and Annthea to take this step up and become Service Director. The business has changed significantly during my period here. The range of industry sectors, the diversity of our clients operating within them, and their changing needs has all contributed to making my time here, feel very worthwhile. The challenges of operating throughout the pandemic, the flow of new apprentices and changes in the technology have all contributed to the growth of the business. I look forward to helping the business develop further, and feel we are fortunate to have an incredible bunch of people here. They have adapted to the technology changes, and ways of working plus continually overcome the challenges set by clients."

Craig Turner Service Director

Craig has shown the leadership qualities needed

"Craig has a unique ability to stay calm in the most demanding situations. Anyone who's been in business in just the last few years will understand the impacts of Brexit, a pandemic, and the unprecedented speed of the switch to an online way of working has had. Whatever the challenge, from delays in obtaining critical spares to the operational requirements of supporting our clients through the pandemic, Craig has led with a cool head. It's probably due to his military background, but whatever is thrown at Craig, he has a knack of dealing with it and making it look easy. It's great to be able to reward his hard work with promotion."
